The Far Western Region of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. encompasses thirteen states, including Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming, making it the Sorority's largest geographic region. Currently, chapters are established in five of these states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, and Washington. The region is characterized by a diverse landscape that includes arid to semi-arid plateaus and plains, forested mountains, deserts, and coastal areas. This region is also the largest geographic area in the United States.
